About the Society
The Glasgow Society for the Education of the Deaf and Dumb was established in 1819. It is registered as a Scottish Charity, No. SCO 03804.
The purpose of the Society is to provide Educational Grants to assist deaf and deaf/blind people. Applications are accepted from anywhere in Scotland.
Grants can be provided for a range of needs, including support for educational courses, the provision of tutors and/or equipment and a contribution toward the cost of computer equipment.
